With direct access to physiotherapy in Alberta, a doctor’s referral is not necessary to receive treatments at B-Fit physiotherapy. However, the physiotherapist may suggest that you consult a doctor for their opinion or to get further tests done. Note that some extended health benefit plan insurance companies still require a doctor’s referral for reimbursement of physiotherapy treatments. It is the responsibility of the patient to check their coverage.

Yes. We strive to get you back to work as soon as physically possible. Please bring in your claim details. The cost of treatment is billed directly to the Worker's Compensation Board (WCB) if your claim is approved

Yes. If you are injured in a motor vehicle accident (MVA), your auto insurance will cover the cost of your treatments. We will assist you with your application forms and directly bill your auto insurance company with no cost to you. You will need a claim number and your case worker’s name and phone number to process your claim.

Physiotherapy in our clinic includes a full thorough assessment. Once the diagnosis is made, the client is treated with a combination of manual hands on therapy, electrical modalities and an extensive patient tailored therapeutic exercise program.
